Hey There!
Ski season is fast approaching and while you are out ski bounding or setting up your wax station, you may find yourself asking “How can I support the Seeley Lake Nordic Ski Club and help ensure great skiing in the future?”
Good news! You have several options:
-
Short on time but flush with cash? You can contribute financially via our Donate tab, or mail a donation to us at SLNSC, PO Box 428, Seeley Lake, MT 59868. Similarly, you could use the QR code posted at the yurt. And, remember, our status as a 501C3 nonprofit makes your donation tax-deductible!
-
Another great way to get involved is to join our club as a dues paying member. Membership is an economical way to contribute to the club. As a member you can join us at the annual meeting, attend club events, and participate in board meetings. Your level of participation is completely up to you.
-
Have some time on your hands? Volunteer! Choose from one (or more) of the following:
-
participate in off-season trail work parties
-
volunteer to give us a hand at our Skiesta, OSCR, or Biathlon events
-
serve on one of our committees
-
consider being a club board member
-
-
Maybe you have a special skill that you want to share with us? We could use help with:
-
website management
-
newsletter publishing
-
applying for grants
-
opening the trailhead yurt in the morning & starting the fire / locking in the evening
-
A NEW benefit of volunteering at any of our events is that you earn a complimentary club membership for one year, along with our heartfelt appreciation and the knowledge that you're helping to keep Nordic skiing alive!
