Four inches of new snow and still snowing. This is largely base building once again. If we get another two to three on top it will be good skiing. Until then Logging Camp is the only loop without major hazards. There are some thin spots on loggers, but they are avoidable. Mountain View and Larch Knob are a definite no go, mud from puddles, and thin areas under large trees on downhill sections make both hazardous to at least your skis. Over six inches by 8 am

.About three inches of new snow. Over the areas with good base, the skiing is quite good. But there are too many trees overhanging the trails, and there the snow did not reach the ground, so without hauling snow again we currently do not have sny loops that have continuous coverage. The weather pattern is fairly unsettled with more snow in the forecast, so we should have decent skiing later this week.

Received new snow overnight, with snow continuing to fall. Temps are currently above freezing. Below freezing temps are forecast overnight, at which time we will attempt to groom.

Yesterday's heat, combined with no freezing temperatures the night before turned the thinner sections into gray ice. Until we get more snow it is now to thin to groom. Weather service has a small chance for Monday, but the rest of the week is warm. The lakes are skiing well if that's any consolation.

McGrew reminded me that it was 2021 the covid year that OSCR was self timed!

Too warm to groom this morning. The good news is the new snow on Seeley Lake is skiing great. Once around is 12+ km. It's fast and fun. Ice is now 8-10 inches thick after the week of cold dry air. Tonight is supposed to freeze, we will be back to grooming Logging Camp and Bull Pine.
